American Cancer Society Cattle Baron’s Ball 2020
The cattle baron ball will not be held in person this year, that was scheduled for October 17th, 2020. It is disappointing, and we were hoping to see each other in person, but the outpouring response from our partners confirms this is the right decision.
Q: What is the event?
The Orlando Cattle Baron’s Ball and the American Cancer Society decided to switch from a live event to a virtual one on 19 September. This would be a tough but responsible decision.
The virtual Orlando Cattle Baron’s ball is being streamed live and includes the same robust, silent auction, a splendid Live auction, and a heartbroken call for the Orlando Cattle Baron’s Ball to finance pediatric cancer. We also have some chance drawing favorites, Chances for Chow and Grape Expectations, as well as a new fundraising photo contest called the Baron’s Contest.
To learn more about the live auction items, Chances for Chow, Grape Expectations, Baron’s Contest (and silent auction items when the are released on September 15th), visit our mobile bidding site http://bidpal.net/cbb2020.

Cancer hasn’t stopped, so neither have we. The fight against cancer can’t be canceled, postponed, or rescheduled. That’s why the Cattle Baron’s Ball Co-Chairs and Board of Ambassadors made the difficult, but necessary, decision to go VIRTUAL! We invite you to join us on Saturday, October 17th for the Cattle Baron’s Ball Hoedown@Home where we will broadcast live on NBC12 and stream on multiple social media channels from 7-8PM.
The COVID-19 pandemic has upended lives and plans. Jobs have been lost and families are struggling. The American Cancer Society is no exception, as we are projecting income to be reduced by one third this year because of the pandemic. We are risk of losing a generation of research progress if we don’t act now. You can continue to stand on the front lines in the fight against cancer by joining us for our Hoedown@Home!
